I. Objectives : After finishing the lesson students will be able to talk about and describe recess activities, know about activities at recess in American

II. Language contents:

- Structures: - Present simple tense.

- Present simple tense with adverbs of frequency.

- Present progressive tense

- Vocabulary recess, blind man’s bluff, catch, marble, skip rope, chat, go indoors, energetic, pen pal, swap, portable, score.

III. Techniques: Brainstorm, Pair work, group work, role play, prediction, pre questions, true / false statement.

IV. Teaching aids: a cassette player - pictures of activities in class-text book.

Objectives :	After finishing the lesson students will be able to talk about and describe recess activities, know about activities at recess in American

Vocabulary	recess, blind man’s bluff, catch, marble, skip rope, chat, go indoors, energetic, pen pal, swap, portable, score.

Match each subjects to the correct activities :
St A : 
Geography Speak, read, write
English Study maps and countries.
Music Sing and play the piano.
St B : Answer some Qs.
Pre - listening / reading : (10’)
Ask : What subjects do you have today ? What subject do you have at.?
Give picture to represent the situation : What are the students doing ? When?
Give flashcards to students.
+ Work in group. ( matching ), looking at the pictures.
+ Some students stick the flashcards on the pictures.
( play marble / catch / skip rope / chat / eat and drink )
While - listening / reading : (20)
+ Listen to the tape.
Give the new words.
+ Read.
Correct the prediction.
+ Read the text.
Point at the picture :What is / are...doing?
+ Answer.
+ Work in pairs.
Post - listening : (9’)
+ Pair work - role play.
+ Some pairs present.
- Highlighting the grammar points.
+ Play “ Slap the board” ( picture)
+ Take survey.
+ Use the questions in the model to ask and answer.
+ Open group.
