 Part 1 : Listen. Then practice with a partner.

I. OBJECTIVES:

- After this lesson, students will be able to discuss schedules and routines.

+ understand passage about Hoa’s study

+ talk about their study

- Developing speaking skills , review simple future , simple present

- Sts should have detailed plan for their study

II. PREPARATION

- Teacher : plan , pictures , book , card , stereo

- Student : book , notebook , pen , ruler , prepare new lesson .

- Techniques : Communicative approach , wok in pair / group

II. PREPARATION

Warm-up:
- T asks Ss some questions 
- Ss answer
Presentation:
- Introduce the lesson “You will hear a cowersation between Hoa and her uncle about school work”
- Explain some new words 
- Ss copy down
-sts read them loudly 
- T checks them up ( slap the board )
- Explain the structure
- Ask Ss to make comparisons
+ Hoa’s classes : 7:00
 Our classes : 6:45
+ The film : 9:30
+ The play : 10 :00
+ Hoa (work ) : 2 hours
Miss Mai : 4 hours
Practice:
- Have Ss predict the answers , using questions a,b,c,d
- Ask Ss to work in groups
- Call on some representatives to give their predictions
- Have Ss look at the books and listen to the tape
- Ask them to read the dialogue 
again and check their predictions
- Have Ss work in pairs reading the dialogue
- Call on some pairs to role phay the dialogue in front of the class
- Ask Ss to work in pairs asking and answering the questions
- Call on some pairs to practice asking and answering the questions in front of the class
- Correct the mistakes and give the correct answers

+ What time do they finish ?
+ How many hours a day do you do your homework?

 That takes about 2 hours each day.
= It takes Hoa about 2 hours to do her homework each day.
S1 : Hoa’s classes start later than our classes.
S2 : Our classes start earlier than Hoa’s classes.

c/ How many hours a day does Hoa do her homework ?

4 Production:
- Ask Ss to answer the questions

5 Homework:
- Learn “vocab” and “struc” by heart.
- Read the dialogue again.
