Check the old lesson: - Get one pupil to read and translate part B2 (Unit 7) - Then teacher remarks and gives marks. b. Warmer: - Get pupils to look at part A1 and answer some questions. + Have you gone to Ha Noi? + Can you name these places? 2. Presentation: - Get pupils to look at part A1 and teacher introduces the new lesson: these places are in Ha Noi. You work in pairs to name these places. - Get pupils to work in pairs to guess. - Call some to give the name (Teacher writes them on a corner of the board to compare with the result) - Then get pupils to look at part A2 and teacher introduces: We'll read 2 dialogues: the first between a tourist and Nga the other between a tourist and Lan. Can you get what are they doing? - Call some to give the answer (Teacher writes the answer on a corner of the board to compare with the result) - Teacher reads the dialogue once. - Teacher introduces some new words - Write new words on the board. - Guide pupils to get meaning of new words. - Teacher reads new words once. - Guide pupils to read new words twice or more. - Get pupils reads new words in silence. - Call some pupils to read new words. - Teacher gives an example. - Read it once. - Explaining. - Give out the form. - Get them to translate the modern sentence - Get them to make some more examples. 3.
