Proceduces: Teacher and students’ activities Contents Warm up - Revision : Having pars of Sts reproduce the dialogue and answer the questions B1,2 Presentation : Ask Sts some questions to introduce the situation .Practice : - Mrs Mai – Hoa’s neighbor made the dress for her. - Let them read the passage silently. - Ask Sts what the passage is about . - T :hightlight the past form of the regular verbs and the structure, some meaning of new words. - Listen and take note - Ask Sts to the questions and find the answers in the passage. - Sts read then answer the questions by themselves. - Have them compare with a partner. - Sts cross-check their answers. - Sts gives the questions one by one. - Sts listen and answer T correct Ss Write down .Practice : - Let them read through the sentences. - Students read and do exercise in the charts - Ask Sts to use the correct past form of the verb to complete the sentences. - Students do their task. - Let them check their answers with their partners - Call some ss to give the answers - Correct - Ss take note Remember: Having them retell the formation of the simple past tense and notice some irregular verbs - Remind ss to take note in the notebooks Consolidation : Having some good Sts retell the story Homework : Ask ss to learn the verbs by heart - Do exercises in B3, 4(workbook ) What did you do yesterday?
