1. The aims:
a. Kiến thức:
	- Học sinh tiếp tục luyện tập thì quá khứ đơn giản qua bài đọc hiểu với chủ đề mới, cung các cấu trúc, từ mới liên quan. 
 - Vocabulary :
 - Hobby - To sew 
 - Sewing machine - To decide => decided 
 - Cushion - To try => tried 
 - Useful - To fit => fitted 
 - Grammar :
 The simple past tense .
 Wh – questions to talk about past activities .
b. Kĩ năng:
	- Học sinh luyện tập kĩ năng đọc hiểu trả lời câu hỏi đồng thời luyện kĩ năng viết hoàn thành câu ở thì quá khứ đơn giản.
c. Thái độ:
	- Học sinh có thái độ nghiêm túc, hăng hái xây dựng bài học.
2. Preparation:
a. Teacher: Student’s book, Teacher’s book, plan of action, tape, casstte, sub- board pictures.
 b. Students: Student’s book, prepare new lesson, learn old lesson
3. Procedures:
	a. Checking the old lesson: (5’)
 - T asks Ss to answer the question:
	What will you do if your friend has a burn on her airm?
I can help her to put the burn under cold water and wash it or put a color handkerchief on it then cover it with a sterile bandage.

- T asks them to complete the sentences with the form of the verbs in the past simple tense .
