What do Ba and his friends often do on Wednesday afternoon? What does Nam often do after school hours? 2.Presentation: I. Activity 1: Read. then answer: New words: - Hour (n): giờ - Acting (n): đóng kịch - Pastime (n): trò tiêu khiển - Rehearse (v): tập kịch - Play (n): vở kịch = drama - Anniversary (n): ngày / lễ kỹ niệm - Celebration (n): lễ kỹ niệm, sự tổ chức ăn mừng - President (n): chủ nhiệm - Bring (v): mang - Sporty (adv): thích thể thao - Comic (n): truyện tranh - Lie (v): nằm II. Activity 2: Answers: a. Her goup is reshearsing a play for the school anniversary celebration. b. He gets American stamps from Liz, his American friends. c. The stamp collector’s club meets on Wednesday afternoon. d. Nam never plays games. III. Activity 3: Listen. Match each name to an activity: a. Mai - go to the school cafeteria. b. Nam - reshearse a play. c. Ba - go to the circus. d. Lan - watch movie. e. Kien - tidy the classroom. Teacher ask students some questions to introduce the new lesson. Students can answer the questions. Students look at the picture and get what people are doing. Teacher explains some words. Teacher reads model. Students repeat. Students read silently the text. Students read in front of class. Students work themselves and look for the answers. Students ask and answer in front of class. Students write the answers on the board. Students listen to the tape and match the name to an activity. Students give the answers. Teacher helps students correct the answers. IV.Consolidation:5’ Listen to the tape again.
