“What + Noun!”

- Ss will able to describe a room by using structure:

o Adjective to describe: lovely, bright, favorite, convenient

- listening and comprehension reading.

Activity 1. Describe a house and list objectives and furniture in a house.
- ask Ss to answer some questions
How many rooms are there in your house?
What are there in each room?
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 1 on page 29- 30.
- ask Ss to list objectives in pictures.
Present new words:

- ask Ss to listen and repeat aloud these words.
- present new structure:
Exclamations:
- Câu cảm than trong tiếng Anh ở dạng What+ Noun được chia thành 2 loại

- ask Ss to give examples.
- ask Ss to pay attention to intonation of exclamations.
- ask Ss to listen the dialogue again then practice in pairs.
- ask 
- ask some pairs to practice in front of class.
- ask Ss to answer questions below.
- Give answer keys:
a, The living room, Hoa’s (bed) room, and the kitchen.
b, Because it is bright and it has nice colors: pink and white.
c, A sink, a tub and a shower.
d, A washing machine, a dryer, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and an electric stove.
Activity 2. Practice to write compliments and complaints.
- ask Ss to look at part 2 on page 30 then write compliments and complaints.
- ask some Ss to express exclamation in front of class.
- give answer keys:

- ask and answer about occupations by using structure:

What + do/ does + S + work?
- vocabulary to describe occupations: farm, countryside, housework, grow vegetables, raise cattle
2. Skills:
- listening skill.
II. Preparation:
- textbook, workbook
III. Procedures:
1. Organization:
- checking attendants

- checking homework.

A. Warm up.
- present new topics.
B. Presentation:
Activity 1. Ask and answer about occupations
- set the scene: What does your father/ mother do? Where do they work?
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 1 on page 33 and answer some questions:
Who are they in the picture?
What are they doing?
What are their jobs?
What do farmer do every day?
Where do they work?
Do they have to do hard work?
- set the scene: You will listen to conversation about Hoa’s parents. They are farmers.
- give new structure to ask answer about occupations:
What + do/ does + S + do?
S + to be + a/an + name of jobs.
- give example:
What does your father do?
He is a farmer/ He is an engineer.
- Present vocabulary:
Farm: trang trại/ cánh đồng
Countryside: đồng quê/ nông thôn
Grow vegetables: trồng rau.
Raise cattle: nuôi gia súc
Housework: công việc nhà
- play the tape twice and ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs, and then answer questions below.
- give answer keys:
He’s a farmer.
He works on his farm.
She‘s a housewife.
She does housework and she helps on the farm.
Yes, they are. (Because they love working on the farm)
She is 8.
Activity 2.Discussion.
- ask Ss to discuss in group about the jobs and features of each job.
- ask some group to present their work in front of class.

- Structure to ask answer about jobs.
- Features of farmer.

- learn vocabulary.

- set the scene: today, we are going to learn about the features of some jobs such as: doctors, teacher, journalist.
While- reading.
- ask Ss to read the text silently and then ask answer these questions below in pairs.
- ask some pairs to present their work in front of class.
- give feedback and correct.
- give answer key.
What does Lan’s father do?
He‘s a doctor.
Where does he work?
He works in a hospital.
What does he do in his job?
He takes care of sick people.
Post- reading.
- ask some Ss to read the text aloud and translate it into Vietnamese.
- practice part About you.
