Activity 1. Practice to identify jobs 
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 3 on page 35 to set the scene: You have four names of jobs and their definitions on the other side. However, the definitions are mismatched orderly with the names. Now, you read and match the names with the most suitable definitions.
- ask Ss to present their work in front of class.
- give feedback and correct.
- give correct answer:
A farmer work on the farm.
A doctor takes care of sick people.
A journalist writes for newspaper.
A teacher teaches in a school.
- guide Ss to play game “Guessing words” to further practice. 
Activity 2. Listening stage.
- ask Ss to look at the picture in part 4 on page 35 to set the scene: you will listen to the tape, and then fill in the personal information card:

Comparatives and superlatives.
- set the scene: Do you live in a house or an apartment? Which is more comfortable?
- ask Ss to look at italic text in part 5 on page 35, and then read aloud.
- explaint to Ss about the dialogue: Job Robinson is an English teacher from the USA. Mr Robinson is now looking for an apartment in Hanoi for his family. He is asking Mr Nhat for advice.
- play the tape once time and ask Ss to keep silent to listen carefully.
