Identify position of objects (B3) - ask Ss to look at section 3 on page 48 and work in group to guess the position of the racks and shelves of book in the library. - ask some preventatives to present their work in front of class. - play the tape and ask Ss to listen silently to do this task. - ask Ss to present their work in front of class. - give feedback and correct. Reading stage (B4) Pre- reading - ask Ss to look at picture in section 4 on page 49 to guees: Which building is it in the picture? While- reading - set the scene: We are going to read about the largest library in the world. You read it silently and answer the questions in your book. - encourage Ss to guess meaning of new words based on situation in this book. - ask Ss to present their work in front of class. - give feedback and correct. Answer key: It is in Washington D.C, the capital of USA. It has over 100 million books. It has 1,000 km of shelves. Over 5, 000 people work here.
