LESSON 1: Getting started +Listen & Read
I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Educational aim: love their local famous place.
2. Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know and tell some famous places of interest in Viet Nam as well as at their place, know how to express polite request.

1. Warm – Up: (5’)
¯ Organize game: think of places of interest as much as possible.
Nha Rong Harbor, The Temple of Literature, Ngo Mon Gate, Ha Long Bay, Huong pagoda, Phong Nha- Ke Bang cave, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum
2. Presentation: (10’)
- Ask students to look at the pictures on the page 98 to match the names with the pictures.

- Ask students to read through the dialogue/ p. 99.
- Have students do multiple choice prediction.
