Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to make some suggestions on some tourist sites in Viet Nam to foreign tourists by reading the text for details about some places of interest in Viet Nam.

II. PRERATIONS: Book III. PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Warm – Up: (5’) Nha Trang Have students play game: “Networks” about things in these places. Pre – Reading: (5’) - Ask students to read through the passage. - Give meaning of some key words before reading. - Explain vocabulary: + Mountain-climbing (n): + Sunbathe(v) + Florist (n) + Import (v) + Accommodation(n) : a place to live ,work ,or stay in. + Giant (adj) =very big + Tribe (n) tribal(adj) slope + Slope (n) + Jungle(n) very thick forest + Limestone (n) - Read new words . - Get students to repeat and rub out the words ,one at a time , but leave the circles and continue until the circles are empty. - Ask students to repeat the rubbed-out words by pointing at the empty circles. - Call 5 students to write the English words in the right circle at the same time. - Introduce new lesson. 3. Post – Reading: (13’) - Guide students to make role play. - Tell students to ask and answer questions using the information in the text. - Write the model on the board . A: Where should Andrew go ? B: He should go to SaPa. A: Why? B: Because he studies tribes and he likes mountain-climbing. - Ask students to work in pairs to practice speaking . - Monitor and correct. 5.
