PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’activities 1. Warm – up: (5’) - Have Ss answer some eliciting questions How do you improve your English? Have you ever taken any English courses to improve your English? - Give Ss a newspaper and ask Ss What are on the newspaper? - Listen and answer à There are some advertisements 2. Pre – reading: (10’) - Have Ss read the information in three advertisements - Give new words. Name of center: council (n): tuition (n): academy (n): 2. Level: beginner (adj): intermediate (adj): advanced (adj): - Read the new words, have Ss listen and repeat. - Have Ss practice new words. - Read the advertisement. - Listen and write. - Listen and repeat. - Practice. 3.
