1. Getting started.
Match the pictures to the correct words.
2. Listen and read.
a ) Practice the dialogue in a group of three.
b ) Fill in each blank with one word or phrase from the dialogue.
c ) Futher practice.
 Guessing game 
= > Provide three clues about the word “ weather forecast.” 
We know whether it is going to rain or to be sunny if we watch this program .
It is usually broadcasted on TV after the news .
It starts with letter W 
- Chatting about this topic : 
 1. Do you usually watch the weather forecast ? 
 2. Do you think weather forecasts are truthful ? 
1. Pre-teach vocabulary.
-Introduce the contents of the lesson and some words :
- Snowstorm (n) : heavy fall of snow especially with wind 
- Earthquake (n) : picture
- Volcano (n) : picture 
- typhoon (n) : violent storm especially in East Asian seas .
- ask Ss to match the picture to the correct words and then compare their answer with a partners .
- Call on some Ss to report and give answer key : 
 1. snowstorm

 4. typhoon 
Ask Ss to look at the picture and answer the question 
 In which program do we see these pictures ? 
=> setting the scene : “ Thuy is talking to her grandmother while they are watching a weather forecast on TV . Now look at the book and listen to the tape . 
2. Practice : 
- Turn on the tape ( 2 or 3 times ) if necessary .
- Ask Ss to practice the dialogue in group of three. 
- Have Ss work individually to fill in each blank one word and phrase from the dialogue . 
- Call on some Ss to read aloud their completed sentences in front of class.

- Ask Ss to read the dialogue again to do this exercise : True or false . Correct the false ones
