 Sending cards is a wide spread custom in Bristain today. The Bristish have 
 been sending cards since Victorian times When wealthy started to send Chrismas greeting. In the 1980s the card industry rapidly expaned as celebrations became more and more commercial.
There are cards for every occasion eventhough getting divorce. More than 100 million Christmas cards sold in Bristain every year. However, cards are no longer confined to special celabrations such as birthday.
