Aims:

- Helping students to understand the importance of learning English , so that they are interested in and fond of this subject.

Content:

 1.The Importance Of Learning English.

 English is a new subject for students in grade six. It is a foreign language .We will be able to know the customs, cultures of English people when we study this subject.

 Besides, studying English will help you to become active and to develop your communication abilities.

 By the end of Grade six ,you will be able to use simple English ,talk about some topics such as sports, pastimes, countries .

 2. How To Study Well?

 You have to prepare your lesson at home before school.

At school, you must follow your teacher’s commands, do some activities for studying English such as : pair work, group work, discussion, doing exercises

At home , you must learn the vocabulary, grammar structure of the lesson, prepare the new lesson.
