Getting started: T gives out the photo of Nha Trang, asks some questions to get Ss’ involved into the lesson: Do you know this place? Where is it? What do you know about this resort site? Do you want to spend your holiday there? Ss answers the questions, T will not correct the sentences but let Ss give their own opinions and their knowledge about Nha Trang. T can also give out any new information. E.g. : The longest cable car over the sea in the world was built last year in NT. New language: a. Vocabulary: T presents the situation of the dialogue: “ Liz and her family have just come back from their holiday to Nha Trang, and Liz is talking to Ba about her trip”. T plays the tapes for the first time, Ss listen and read the dialogue, then underline the new words that they see in the dialogue.
