WHAT A LOVELY HOME. A2a.
Teaching aims : Helps Ss to practice in making complaints with ‘What + a/an + adj + Noun !’. By the end of this lesson, Ss can use this form correctly.

* Vocabulary : awful (adj); expensive (adj); bad (adj); boring (adj); wet (adj).
* Grammar: ‘What + a/an + adj + Noun !’
Teaching aid & Preparation :
Teacher's : Lesson plan: tape; card; poster; picture on page 30/p2a .
Student's : Picture on page 30/p2a.
Teaching procedure :
1. Greeting & checking absence ( 1 M ):
- Greeting in English.
- Absence: 7A: 7B: 
2. Warm - up or Revision ( 5M): Jumbled words
 tgbirh = bright; tetiinrgesn = interesting; 
 dogo = good; tieaufubl = beautiful; lolevy = lovely.
Helps Ss to play the game .
Corrects & comments.
3. New lesson :

PRE-LISTENING
- Introduces the words by explaining the meaning, using the situation.
- Reads the words for the modal (3 times ). Then helps SS to repeat ( 2 times ).
- Checks S’s reading in individual & corrects the mistakes.
- Writes the words on the Bb & checks the meaning & the pronunciation.
- Corrects & asks Ss to copy the words.
- Introduces & Helps Ss to look at the picture & write the exclamation.
- Asks Ss to give the text in individual.
- Corrects S’s pronunciation & comments.
Time: 15 M.
1.Vocabulary: W&W.

- Listening to the words. 
- Repeating the words in chorus & in individual. Correcting the mistakes.
- Giving the meaning & the pronunciation.

- Looking at the picture & writing the exclamation.
- Giving the text in individual.
-Correcting the pronunciation. 
*Model sentence:
 ‘ What an expensive dress ! ‘
PRACTICE
- Introduces the example exchange & Helps Ss to practice.
- Reads the first model for example & asks Ss to repeat in chorus & in individual.
- Asks Ss to make sentences for the next.
- Practices with Ss & checks S’s practicing in groups & in pairs .
-Corrects S’s pronunciation & comments.

*Example exchange: 
 S1: The dress is expensive.
 S2: Yes. What a expensive dress. 
- Repeating in chorus & in individual.

 S1: The dinner is delicious.
 S2: Yes. What a delicious dinner.

4. Noughts & crosses.
- Working in groups to give some compliment or make complaints with ‘What + a/an + adj + Noun !’ .
- Giving the compliment or make complaints.
-Correcting the information.

 - Ask Ss to give the form of compliment or make complaints
with ‘What + a/an + adj + Noun !’ & give example:.

 - Asks Ss to summarize the general idea of the lesson.
 * Homeworks: 
 - Study the form of making complaints by heart. 
 -Writing five compliment or complaints sentences using the form
 ‘What + a/an + adj + Noun !’.
 - Prepare the picture on page 33 & some information about S’s parents.
