I. Aims and objectives: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about favorite subjects and activities in free time, their ability.

II. Language focus:

Appliance, household, draw, ,to enjoy, Electronics, to repair, to fix, , to be good at, artist.

III. Skills: Reading, writing, speaking,listening,chatting, Rub Out and Remember, Comprehension Questions, Write it up. Matching, Prediction, Gap fill, Answer the questions.

IV. Teaching aids: Text book, lesson plan, pictures, stereo and record .

- Ask Ss to give some more examples.
* Practice:
A1. Read . Then answer the questions:

"These statements are about Ba's routines at home and at school. All of you have toread the statements and guess which statement is true and which is false."
 1. Ba enjoys his school very much.
 2. His favorite subject is Math.
 3. In Electronic class, he does some experiment.
 4. He is not good at fixing things.
 5. He can helps his parents at home.
 6. He watches TV in his free time.
- Ask ss to listen and read the text A2 on page 52 and check their prediction. Then compare with their prediction.

- Call some ss to read the text after listening to the tape once more.
* Comprehension Questions:
- Ask Ss to read the passage again, then answer the questions (the five questions) below.
- Ask ss to work in pairs to ask and answer.
- Call some pairs to ask and answer. 
- Teacher give the correct answers.

- Retell about some information about Ba with be good at + Ving.... .
* Set the task:
- Old lesson: Learn by heart the vocab. Do exercies on the workbook (A2,3). Read the text fluently and translate it in to Viet Names.
- New lesson: Find out the newwords and write down on the notebook. - Prepare Unit 5- lesson 3: A4, 5,6.
