I. Aims and objectives

 - Provide sts some new words

 - Develop 4 skills : L , S , R & W.

 - Help sts further practice in Present progressive and sports vocabulary to talk about what people are doing now .

 - By the end of the lesson sts will be able to practice in Present progressive well

II . Preparation :

I. Aims and objectives
 - Provide sts some new words

 - Help sts further practice in Present progressive and sports vocabulary to talk about what people are doing now .
 - By the end of the lesson sts will be able to practice in Present progressive well

1. Pre teach vocabulary :
+ T. elicits.
+ T. models three times.
+ T. puts the words on the board.
+ T. checks meaning and pronunciation
- (to) swim : B¬i (picture)
- (to) play badminton: Ch¬i cÇu l«ng (mime)
- (to) jog : §i bé (mime)
- (to)do aerobics : TËp td nhÞp ®iÖu (example)
- (to) play table tennis : Ch¬i bãng bµn (explanation)
- (to) skip :Nh¶y d©y (picture)
2. Checking vocabulary: Slap the board.
* Dictation lists :
+ T. reads : play football, jog , do aerobics, play tennis, skip, swim, play volleyball, play table tennis.
*Answer key:
 2 people + 1 person
play football, play tennis jog ,do aerobics, skip
play table tennis, play volleyball swim
+ T. asks sts to put the sports in suitable columns which can be played by 1 person or 2 people or more .
II. Presentation text :
+ T. sets the scene:

Ba: They are playing badminton.
* Concept check :
A, Meaning : Translate into Vietnamese.

+ T. asks sts to run through all the picture cues.
