I. Aims and objectives

 - Provide sts some new words

 - Develop 4 skills : L , S , R & W.

 - Writing short texts about what we co in our free time .

 - By the end of the lesson ss will be able to ask and answer with “What do/does + S + do in . free time ?” fluently, then write a short text well.

II . Preparation :

1.Teacher: Lesson plan, poster, pictures.

2. Students: Books , workbooks , notebooks.

III. stage of the lesson:

1.Organization: 1’- Good morning !

 - Who’s absent today ? - How are you ?

I. Aims and objectives
 - Provide sts some new words 
 - Develop 4 skills : L , S , R & W.
 - Writing short texts about what we co in our free time .
 - By the end of the lesson ss will be able to ask and answer with “What do/does + S + do in ... free time ?” fluently, then write a short text well.
II . Preparation :
1.Teacher: Lesson plan, poster, pictures.
2. Students: Books , workbooks , notebooks.
III. stage of the lesson:
1.Organization: 1’- Good morning ! 
 - Who’s absent today ? - How are you ?
2. Checking up: 5’ Teacher calls 1 student goes to the bb to do exe 2 page 62
 + T. corrects and gives them marks.
* The answer: 1. watch- TV	2. play- table tennis	4. go swimming
3. New lesson : Today I’ll help all of you to practice to ask and answer with “What do/does + S + do in ... free time ?” fluently, then write a short text well.

1. Pre teach vocabulary :
+ T. elicits. + T. models three times.
+ T. puts the words on the board.
+ T. checks meaning and pronunciation
- free time : Thêi gian r¶nh rçi (example)
- (to) go to the movies : §i xem phim (picture)
- (to) go fishing : §i c©u c¸ (explanation)
2. Checking vocabulary: Slap the board.
II. writing
1. Pre writing: 
a. Picture drill : B1 p.127 a-->f :
+ T. asks sts to run through all the pictures :
* Example : S1: What does [Phuong] do in [his] free time ?
 S2: [He] goes to the movies.

I listen to music I go fishing I play video games
+ T. guides sts to practice 
b. Transformation writing : B1 p.127 a --> f
+ T. asks sts to change “I” to “Phuong...”etc.
 a) Phuong goes to the movies in his free time.

* Answer key : B3 p.128 a) --> f).
 a) Phuong goes to the movies in his free time.

2. While writing :
+ T. asks sts to write 3 things about what they do in their free time. 
* Example : Individual writing :
 ( Nam writes ): I watch TV, I go fishing and I play soccer.
(Thuy writes):I watch TV,I go to the park and I play badminton
Group writing (Poster):
+ T. asks sts to work in groups of 4. In groups they put all their sentences together on a poster.
Nam and Thuy watch TV.
Nam goes fishing. 
Thuy goes to the park and plays badminton.
3. Post writing: B4 p.128: - T. asks sts to listen and then match the names with the right pictures: What do they do in their free time?
