 - “How often.?” qs and answers “once/twice/tree times . a week” to talk about frequency of activities .

 - Practice Adverbs of frequency (always / usually / often / sometimes / never) with “How often.?”.

 - By the end of the lesson sts will be able to ask- “How often.?” qs and answer with “once/twice/tree times . a week” to talk about frequency of activities and practice Adverbs of frequency (always / usually / often / sometimes / never) fluently.

I. Aims and objectives
 - Provide sts some new words 
 - Develop 4 skills : L , S , R & W.
 - “How often...?” qs and answers “once/twice/tree times ... a week” to talk about frequency of activities .
 - Practice Adverbs of frequency (always / usually / often / sometimes / never) with “How often...?”.

 1. Set the scene :
 Mai Liªn
 Mai : How often does Ly go jogging ?
 Liªn : She goes jogging once a week.

 Mai : How often does she read ?
 Liªn : She reads three times a week .
 + T. elicits and asks sts to repeat
 2. Concept check :
 * Meaning : Translate into Vietnamese.
 * Form : How often + do/does + S + V ?

III. Practice :

 + T. asks sts to practice in pairs to ask and answer about their activities themselves.
IV.Revision : C5 p.132 :
 + T. sets the scene about : Nga and Lan .
 + T. asks sts to predict how often Nga and Lan do the things by using all the pictures p.132. 
 + T. asks sts to listen and check their predictions then practice with 
“ How often do Nga and Lan do .... ? ”.
