I. OBJECTIVES: 
Teaching aim: At the end, students can understand the text and use adverbs of frequency more fluently, write activities in free time.

1. Warm – up: (5’)
Have students to make up dialogue, using adverbs of frequency to talk about activities in free time.
 Never, sometimes, often, often, usually 
Ex: A: How often do you go fishing?
 B: I never go fishing.
2. Pre - reading: (10’)
- Introduce the new words: 
+ to wear (v) 
+ clothes 
+ boots (n)
+ a stove (n)
+ overnight (adv)
- Ask students practice the new words.
- Set up the sence by asking questions:
What do Minh and his friends do on the weekend? 
- Ask students to think of activities in town and the country.
 ride a bike
 have a picnic fly a kite
 play game 
 Pastimes in the country
 go to the
mountain go camping
 go to the river
3. While - reading: (15’)
- Get students to read the text and check.
 + go walking in the mountains
 + wear strong boots, warm clothes.
 + take food, water and camping stoves
 + camp overnight.
- Ask students to play game “Lucky numbers”
