Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use “This / That” to make positive statements and ask “Yes / No” questions.

1. Warm - Up: (5’)
- Ask students play game “Jumbled words”
 + lleho = hello
 + mnae = name 
 + treste = street
 + yict = city
 + pesll = spell
2. Presentation: (15’)
- Introduce the new words:

- Ask students practice the new words.

- Let them pay attention to the pronunciations of THIS and THAT.
- Explain how to use THIS and THAT.
- Emphasize on the intonation of the YES - NO questions.
+ Rising tone in YES - NO question. 
+ Falling tone in answers 
3. Practice: (15’)
- Ask students to look at the pictures.
- Ask students to practice the dialogue with partner.
- Say the model sentences.
- Do the same for the second picture.
- Correct their mistakes.
4. Production: (8’)
- Ask students to the dialogue part 1/p.26, make a similar dialogue about themselves.
Ex: I’m  This is my .

- Call some pairs to practice in front of class.
- Correct the mistakes.
5. Homework: (2’)
- Ask students learn the vocabulary and “This / That” positive statements and “Yes / No” question. 
- Have them prepare next lesson Unit 2: C2, 3/p. 28
- Work in groups.
- Listen to the teacher and write.
- Practice.
- Look at the pictures and listen to the teacher’s explanation.
- Repeat after the teacher.
- Answer questions.
- Pay attention to the pronunciation of THIS and THAT.
