2. Presentation: (16’)

- Ask Ss to review count numbers from 1 - 100

- Ask Ss some questions:

 How many people are there in your family?

- Introduce structure:

 + How many . are there?

 There is one.

 There are two.

 + Noun  plural ( end with o, ch, sh, ss, s, x, z + es)

Ex: Couches

3. Practice: (14’)

- Ask Ss to look at part 3/ 37, play the tape for 3 times.

- Ask Ss to listen and repeat.

- Call some Ss to practice in front of class.

+ How many doors are there? – There is one.

+ How many window are there? – There are two.

- Ask Ss to look at the picture part 2/p.36, count the numbers in the classroom.

- Get feedback.

Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use “ How many ..” to ask and answer about items in the classroom, review the rules of changing Nouns (singular or plural)

- Have students play game “ Slap the board”
