Activity 1: Brainstorming:
- T asks what the capitals of the countries in the ASEAN.
Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bruney, Singapore, East Timo, Pilippines,
- T and Ss give names of these countries.
Activity 2: Gap - fill
T asks Ss to look at the chart and tell the capitals of the countries in the worl:
Model exchages:
A: What is the capital of Thailand?
B: It’s Bangkok.
Answers given
Canbera, Ottawa, Paris, London, Beijing, wellington, Tokyo.
Activity 3:Question making
T gives out the answers then asks Ss to make up the questions about Marie Curie:
a) Marie Curie was born in 1867.
b) She was born in Poland.
c) She learned to read when she was 4.
d) She finished school when she was only 15.
e) She won’t the Nobel Prize for phisics in 1903 and the Nobel Prize for chemistry 8 years later.
