LESSON 1: ASKING THE WAY (A 1,2)
I. Objectives:

- Ask students match the names of the places and the pictures

f. market ª Dong Xuan Market
¯ Note
 Proper names always stand before the common nouns of place
 Eg: Dong Xuan Market (Never say: Market Dong Xuan)
Pre – speaking. 
 - Ask students if there are any similar places in their town and name some of them.
 a. Is there a post office in our town?
 ª Yes, there is one, Duc Trong post office.
 b. Is there a railway station in our town?
 ª No, there isn’t.
- Supply students with some services in Duc Trong.

- Get students to practice asking and answering about the places in Duc Trong in pairs.
- Show the map of Duc Trong to ask students how to get to the post office.

- Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. The post office is on the left, opposite Kim Cuong Motorbike Shop.
- Have students practice in pairs to ask the way to other places.
- Elicit the structures to
