Period 54: FROM UNIT 6 TO UNIT 8

 I. Aims and Objectives:

 Language content: To revise some important things they have already learnt from Unit 6 to Unit 8

 Language function: The students could retell something they have studied.

 Educational aim: To educate the students to recognize the importance of review lesson.

 II. Language:

 1. Vocabulary: revision

 2. Structure: revision

 3. Skills: Integrated skills.

 III. Teacher and students’ preparation:

 1. Method: Communicative approach

 2. Techniques: Repetition, Ask and answer, using picture.

 3. Materials needed: Textbook, picture, and cassette.

 4. Students’ preparation: Homework, new lesson, teaching aids.

 I. Aims and Objectives:
 Language content: To revise some important things they have already learnt from Unit 6 to Unit 8

 IV. Procedure in class:
 1. Stabilization: (3ms)
 a. Warm – up: Makes greetings (Good morning, class./ How are you?)
 b. Checking absence: Asks the monitor: Who is absent today?
 2. Checking – up previous knowledge: (5ms) Has a student answer the questions: 
a. How many subjects do you learn at school? 
b. What’s your favorite subject ?
c. What do you do in your free time?
 3. Presentation of the new material:

1. Lead in: 
You have already revise units 4 and 5 of English 7. Now in order to help you revise the old knowledge. Let’s review Units 6, 7 and 8.
2. Pre-practice:
Has them recall important things they have already learnt ( Units 6,7 and 8 )
3. Controlled-practice: 
+ Has them use the cues to make complete sentences
would / you / play / tennis.
Why / you / want / go / movies.
Collecting / stamps / my / pastime.
Corrects the mistakes if necessary.
+ Has them make questions, using the words given in brackets.
That farmer works from early in the morning till late at noon. ( How long )

4. Free-practice: 
Has them rewrite the sentences without changing their original meanings, using the given words

5. Consolidation:
Recalls the students the things they just learnt.

Recall important things of Units 6,7 and 8.
Try to complete the sentences
