Warm up: Answer the questions:
- Ask ss to look at the picture and answer the questions.
a-How many people are there in the picture ?
b-Who are they ?
c-What are they talking about ?
-Correct.
1.Presentation: 
*Pre-teach vocabulary:
- neighbor (n)người hàng xóm,láng giềng.
- hairdresser (n): thợ uốn tóc,thợ cắt tóc.
- material (v)vải,vật liệu.
- clever (v)khéo tay.
- dressmaker (v)thợ may áo đầm.
- to cut (n) cắt
- to make (v) làm, may
- woman (v) phụ nử
-ask Ss to repeat and read individually.
*Check Vocab: Rub out and remember.
*The dialogue :
-Ask Ss to listen to the tape and repeat
-Call some Ss to read in pairs.
*Answer the questions:
1-What does Hoa’aunt do ?
2-What does Mrs Mai do ?
3-Did Hoa buy the dress ?
4-Did her aunt make Hoa’s dress ?
5-Did her aunt cut her hairs ?
Correct Ss’answers.
2-Grammar: Past simple tense.
Model sentences: Yes/No questions:

*Did Lan cut the flowers ?

Form: Did +S + V(inf ) +O +ADV ?

*Ask Ss to give some examples.

-Ask Ss to change the following sentences into the interrogative.
a-My mother made a cake for my birthday party last week.
b-We cut all flowers in the garden yesterday.
c-I bought a book in the shop yesterday.
