 - asks Ss to give adverbs of time and place and introduces the lesson. 
 I- PRESENTATION (14’)
- elicits the words first and says out the words.
- writes and checks the words.
- uses What and Where to check vocab.
- asks Ss to read the text and reads the whole sentences.
- writes the model and runs it through.
- does concept check.
- gives examples of another ways
 II- PRACTICE (13’)
- shows the cards and runs through the words.
- makes the model with the first card.
- instructs Ss to practice by the cards
 III- PRODUCTION (7’)
- asks Ss to write the full sentences on the board.
Ex: He plays well
- asks Ss to complete Exer. 5 (P.132) in textbooks.
- invites the answers.
- asks the whole to check the answers.
1. Vocabulary
- skillful (Adj) (Trans.)
- slow (Adj) (Trans.) # quick (Adj)
- safe (Adj) (Trans.)
- careful (Adj) # careless (Adj) (Trans.)
- try to give them out and repeat chorally- individually.
- copy down & give the meaning, stress.
- read and then rewrite the rubbed-out words.
2. Presentation text. (P.131)

- He plays soccer well.
*) Form: Adverbs of manner
ADJ. + Ly = Adverb of manner

Hard, fast, late, early,..........
- read them chorally.
- read out the model with T.
- pick out the meaning, form and use.
- work with teacher to get it.
3. Word-cue drill.
He is a good player (Well)
She is a slow swimmer (slowly)
She is a quick runner (quickly)
They are bad tennise players (badly)
Example:
S1. He is a good player
S2: He plays well.
- read out the words.
- follow teacher/s.
- asks and answer the question.

4. Write-it – up
- write them and check it.
- do groupwork .
- speak out their answers and explain the ways.
- check the answers with T.
Consolidation: (3’)
- aks Ss to compare adjactives and adverbs of manner.
Homework: (2’)
Asks Ss to do exercise 2,3,4- P.74,75 (workbook).
Instructs them to prepare A4.
