New lesson: Teacher’activities Ss’ activities. *Warm up: Find someone who.................. -correct. 1- Presentation dialogue: 1-1: Ask Ss to look at the picture and answer the questions: a- What are Ba and Nam doing ? b- Can you play table tennis ? 1-2: The dialogue: -Ask Ss to listen to the tape and repeat. -let Ss read in group then in pairs. -correct Ss’ pronunciation. *Ask Ss to answer the questions: 1-3: Grammar: -Ask Ss to read the dialogue and find some sentences containing modal verbs. Model sentence: I ought to finish it before I play table tennis. You must do your homework first. I have to finish this question for Math tomorrow. You should stop smoking. Yes / no -look at the picture and answer the questions: a- they are playing table tennis. b- Yes /No. -listen and repeat. -read in group then in pairs. -read the dialogue then answer the questions: a-Nam ought to finish his homework. b-He will be ready in a few minutes. c-Ba will finish a question for Math. d- Ba has 2 paddles. -read the dialogue and find out. -copy down. -give examples: *They must eat more vegetables and fruit. *He ought to get up early.repeat. -do individually. -look at the part B2. and read the dialogue in pairs the make the similar dialogue. IV. Consolidation: Let Ss make similar dialogue to consolidate. V. Homework: At home: +Learn the dialogue by heart. +Learn the form and give some examples. +Do exercises 3,4 in workbook.
