II.Checking (5ms) + read the text then answer the questions. + write new words on the board. III. New lesson: Teacher’activities Ss’ activities. *warm up: Brainstorming. - Ask Ss to match some programs on TV they have watched on TV. - write on the board. 1- Language Presentation: a) Pre-teach vocab: - cartoon /ka:’tu:n /(n) phim hoạt hình. - a fistul of: một nắm đây - weather forecast: chương trình dự báo thời tiết. - plenty of = a lot of - World Today: Thế giới ngày nay. *Check vocab: Rub out and remember. b) Presentation dialogue: -play the tape and ask Ss to repeat. -call some pairs read the dialogue. -correct Ss’pronunciation. c) comprehention question: Lucky numbers. -Ask Ss to read the dialogue again and answer the questions. 1- Does Nga watch a lot of TV ? Why/why not ? 2-What does Ba like to watch on TV ? 3- What does Nga like to watch on TV? 4- Why doesn’t Nga like music programs on TV ? 5- What is Nga going to do this evening ? d) Grammar: Model sentence: I like to watch programs about teenagers in other countries. I like watching sports. 2- Practice: Substitution -introduce. - T gives cues or Ss to practice. -correct Ss’ pronunciation. 3- Production: Listening -Ask Ss to work in group and tell the orograms on the screen. What kind of programs do you like ? I like to watch ...... . - T plays the tape and ask Ss to fill the time they start. - Possible answer: game show, sports, film (movie), music, news, cartoon. -speak out. -copy down. -read chorally. -listen to the tape and repeat. -read in pairs. -read the text again and answer the questions. 1-.Not often,because There aren’t many good programs for teenagers. 2- Ba likes to watch sports show,cartoon and movies.. 3-Nga likes to watch programs about teenagers in other countries. 4- Because they don’t play the kind of music he likes. 5- She’s going to listen to the radio and may be read book. -repeat. -work in class the in pairs. -work in group and and discuss the questions.
