VI Procedures : 1/Warm – up - Have ss play ‘Slap the board’ with these words: tired ,dizzy, play outdoors, social skills, inventors, arcade, forget. - Ask questions about the bad effects of video games. 2/Pre – reading - Have ss look at the picture in the book. - Ask questions. + Where is this, a city or a countryside? + What do you think about the life in the city and in the countryside? (Tick the table) - Elicit the new words and structures: the rest of the week, move here, a little traffic, busy roads, noise, awake (Keep me awake), direction, scare. - Have ss distinguish the difference between the structures: used to and get/be used to * Used to + V-inf (past habit action that no longer in present time.) * Be/get used to + V-ing (present habit action.) 3/While – reading - Play the tape for ss. - Ask ss to read the dialogue silently. - Ask ss to answer the questions -Call some pairs to ask and answer in front of the class. -Make correction. - Have ss practice the dialogues. 4/Post – reading - Have ss write the information in the table. - Ask questions. + Where do you like to live, in the city or in the countryside?
