A. Objectives : By the end of this period, ss will be able to read a text for main ideas,

 details and job vocabulary and talk about occupations.

B. Language contents:

* Vocabulary: grow, raise cattle, journalist, take care of sick. , a newspaper

* Grammar: Simple present tense.

C. Techniques:

 Question - answer, pair work, group works, match.

D. Teaching aids:

 Textbook, lesson plan, posters, realia.

T: Ask ss some questions and guide ss to know about the place of jobs.
Ss: Listen and answer.
 * Presentation:
T: elicit new words.
 Model them.
Ss: listen and repeat in chorus and in groups.
T: write them on the BB.
 Ss: Give meaning.
 Copy down 
T: clean the words in English.
Ss:read and rewrite them on the BB.
 *Practice:
T: Ask ss to practice dialogue in pairs.
Ss: Read aloud before class. 
T: Listen and correct pronunciation..
T: Ask ss to read in silent th dialogue again and answer the questions in pairs .
_ Practice before class.
Ss: Listen and do as requested.

D. Consolidation:
T: Remark all period and check their understanding again.

* Setting the scene:

What does her mother do?
Now, today we are going to learn Hoa’s family.

d, She does the housework and she help on the farmer.

 Pelmanism
T: Give ss some cards with jobs and tasks of work. Ask ss to choose two cards which are suitable.
Ss: try to choose.
 III. New lesson
 * Pre- listening:
T: Introduce the situation and give the new words.
T: Setting the scence: “ We’re going to listen to the tape about Tom, Susan and Bill. Before listening we have to predict how old they are, what their jobs are and where they work.”
Ss: Predict and give their predictions.
 * While listening
Ss listen to the tape three times and check their predictions.
- Have ss use the grid to talk about Tom, Susan and Bill. ( work in group)
- Call some ss to talk before te class.
 *Post-listening: (8m)
 Wrie- it- up
- Ss use the grid to write about Tom, Susan and Bill.
