3.1. Present Simple tense.( Thì hiện tại đơn giản)
a) Uses: (Cách dùng)
	1). Diễn tả những hành động hàng ngày, thường xuyên, lặp lại nhiều lần ở hiện tại.
	2) Chỉ sở thích, quan điểm.
	3) Chỉ thời gian biểu, lịch trình.
	4) Chỉ sự thật hiển nhiên, quy luật.
b) Form: (Cấu trúc)
* Tobe:
+	S + am/is/are + ....... .	E.g I am a teacher of English.
- 	S + am/is/are - not + .........	 He is not (isn't) a teacher of English.
?	Am/Is/Are + S + ...............?	 Are you a teacher of English?
* Ordinary verbs:
+ 	S + V/Vs / es + ..	 E.g The earth goes around the sun.
- 	S + don’t/doesn’t + V + 	 We don’t have classes on Sunday.

Note: + Thì hiện tại đơn giản thường được dùng với các trạng từ chỉ thời gian và trạng từ chỉ tần xuất như: always, usually, ... never; every - every morning/week / month / year . . .; nowadays; in- In summer, In the morning....
3.2. Past Simple Tense (Thì quá khứ đơn)
a) Uses: (Cách dùng)
	1). Diễn tả những hành động, sự việc, hiện tượng sẩy ra và đã hoàn toàn kết thúc tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.
	2) Chỉ thói quen trong quá khứ. (Optional)
b) Form: (Cấu trúc)
* Tobe:
+	S + was/were + ....... .	E.g I was a student at Ha Noi university.
- 	S + was/were - not + .........	 He was not (wasn't) here yesterday.
?	Was/Were + S + ...............?	 Were you at home last night?
* Ordinary verbs:
+ 	S + V-ed(regular) /V(irregular) +  E.g He arrived here yesterday.
- 	S + didn’t + V + 	 She didn’t go to school yesterday
? 	Did + S + V +  ? Did you clean this table this morning?
Note: + Thì quá khứ đơn giản thường được dùng với các trạng từ chỉ thời gian xác định trong quá khứ như : last week / month / year . . .; a week / 3 days / 5 months. . .ago ; yesterday, yesterday morning / evening, In+ past time, in 1945/2008...
	+ Cách đọc các động từ ở thì quá khứ đơn với đuôi "ED".
- "ED" được đọc là /t/ khi những động từ nguyên gốc có âm tận cùng là: /f/, /k/, /p/, /s/,/t∫/, /∫/, /dz/.
E.g : laughed , asked , helped , watch , pushed , dressed , 
- "ED" được đọc là /id/ khi những động từ nguyên gốc có âm tận cùng là: /d/; /t/
E.g : needed , wanted , waited , ..
- "ED" được đọc là /d/ khi những động từ nguyên gốc có âm tận là những âm còn lại
E.g : enjoyed , saved , filled ,.
3.3. Future Simple Tense (Thì tương lai đơn)
a) Uses: (Cách dùng)
	1). Diễn tả những hành động, sự việc, hiện tượng (có thể) sẩy ra tai một thời điểm trong tương lai.
	2) Chỉ sự mời mọc hay thỉnh cầu. 
b) Form: (Cấu trúc)
+	S + will/shall ('ll) + V + .........	E.g I will go home next weekend.
-	S + will/shall - not (won't) + V + ....	She won't go to school tomorow.
?	Will/Shall + S + V + .....?	Will you come to my house this evening?
Note: + Thì tương lai đơn giản thường được dùng với các trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong tương lai như: tomomrow- tomorow morning/ afternoon, ... next - next week/month; future time - in 2010....

 Nowadays, football becomes one of the world’s most popular games. Millions of people play and watch it all around the world.
 A football match often has two parts. Each part is forty- five minutes. The first part is the first half and the second part is the second half. There is a fifteen – minute break between the two halves.
