New lesson: Lesson 3 (B1,2) Teacher’s Activities Student’s Activities *)Lead-in: Chatting (3’) - hangs on the picture and asks the Qs. ?How many people are there in the picture ?Who are they ?What does Mr.Tan want to asks Lan ? What happened to Lan yesterday. - introduces the lesson. I- PRESENTATION (14’) - elicits first and says out the words - writes and checks. - checks vocab. : Rub-out and Remember - asks Ss to read the dialogue and asks the question: What happened to Lan yesterday? - writes the model and run it through. - revises the Simple Past tense and elicits the meaning, use and form.. - reads out the model. II- PRACTICE (13’) - shows the cards and runs through the words. - makes the model with the first card. - instructs Ss to practice by the cards. III- PRODUCTION (5’) - give sthe worksheets and asks Ss to work in groups, asksing and answering the question and then make a stick in the table - invites the answers. 1.
