Asks Ss to write the answers of the following questions on the board.

I- PRESENTATION (14’)
- elicits first and says out the words
- writes and checks.
- checks vocab. : Rub-out and Remember
- asks Ss to read the dialogue and asks the question: What happened to Lan yesterday?
- writes the model and run it through.
- revises the Simple Past tense and elicits the meaning, use and form..
- reads out the model.
 II- PRACTICE (13’)
- shows the cards and runs through the words.
- makes the model with the first card.
- instructs Ss to practice by the cards.
 III- PRODUCTION (5’)
- give sthe worksheets and asks Ss to work in groups, asksing and answering the question and then make a stick in the table
- invites the answers.
1. Vocabulary
-(to) have a headache (Mime): đau đầu
 a stomachache (Mime): dạ dày
 a toothache (Mime): đau răng
 a cold (Mime): cảm lạnh
 the flu (Mime): cảm cúm
 a virus (Trans.): nhiễm vírut
- try out and repeat chorally- individually
- give the meaning & the stress
- read and then rewrite the rubbed – out words.
2. Presentation Dialogue. (P.110)
- read them in pairs and answer the question: She had a bad cold.
- read out the model with T.
- give their ideas.
- asks and answer the model.
*) Model:
Mr.Tan: What was wrong with you?
Lan: I had a bad cold.
*) Form: When we talk about illness, we use:
- What is/was wrong with you?
- I have/had a cold/ a flu/.............
3. Word-cue drill.
- read out the words.
