I. Objectives:
- Pupils get acquainted with the sport topic.
II. Contents:

III. Teaching aids:
	- Planning lesson, book...
	- A sub-board written on part A3.
IV. Procedure:

1. Warm up:
- Guide pupils to play a game named" Find someone who..."
- Then teacher says: playing sports is one of the most popular free time activities around the world. In this lesson and in the following ones we will learn about this topic.
2. Presentation:
- Ask pupils some questions: 
+ What are your favorite sports?
+ Make a list of the sports, which you play in your free time.
- Get pupils to look part A1 and ask: Do you recognize these sports?
- Then teacher reads part A1 once first.
- Teacher introduces some new words.
- Guides pupils to get the use and meaning of them.
- Teacher reads new words once first. 
- Guide pupils to read new words twice or more.
- Get pupils to read new words in silence.
- Gets one by one to read new words loudly.
- Check pupils' reading.
3. Practice:
- Teacher reads the text again once.
- Guide pupils to read.
- Get pupils read the text in individual in silence.
- Call some pupils to read the text.
- Get them to read the text again and translate it in to Vietnamese.
- Get them to compare their translation with each other.
- Call some pairs to translate the text before class.
- Teacher corrects.
- Get pupils work in pairs to ask and answer the questions.
- Call some pairs to ask and answer before the class.
- Get pupils to look at part A3 and give the name of these sports.
- Teacher says: In English in order to express how someone do something we use adverbs of manner.

+ What are the benefits of walking?
+ Base on the title "Walking is fun" can you guess what the reading about?
2. Presentation:
- Get pupils to look at part A4, and teacher introduces: you are going to read a passage about walking, one of the most popular sport activities.

- Teacher introduces some new words.
- Guides pupils to get the use and meaning of them.
