1. The aims:

 a. Kiến thức:

 - Học sinh nắm vững dạng thức cấu tạo, cách dùng của trạng từ chỉ thể cách và mở rộng chủ đề thể thao.

 - Qua bài đọc hiểu học sinh được học lợi ích của một trong số các môn thể thao được yêu thích:

 + Vocabulary:

 - Skillful => Skillfully - Safe => safely

 - Cyclist - To cycle

 - To be aware of - Lifeguard

 - Strict - To obey

 + Grammar:

 - Structure: Adjectivie + ly => adverb

 b. Kĩ năng:

 - Học sinh biết cách biến đổi câu tương đương từ cách dùng tính từ sang trạng từ, đồng thời nâng cao kĩ năng đọc hiểu qua dạng bài đọc hiểu trả lời câu hỏi theo chủ đề.

 Part A3-4 Sports 
1. The aims:
 a. Kiến thức:
	- Học sinh nắm vững dạng thức cấu tạo, cách dùng của trạng từ chỉ thể cách và mở rộng chủ đề thể thao.
 - Qua bài đọc hiểu học sinh được học lợi ích của một trong số các môn thể thao được yêu thích:
 + Vocabulary:
 - Skillful => Skillfully - Safe => safely 
 - Cyclist - To cycle 
 - To be aware of - Lifeguard
 - Strict - To obey 
 + Grammar:
 - Structure: Adjectivie + ly => adverb 
 b. Kĩ năng:
	- Học sinh biết cách biến đổi câu tương đương từ cách dùng tính từ sang trạng từ, đồng thời nâng cao kĩ năng đọc hiểu qua dạng bài đọc hiểu trả lời câu hỏi theo chủ đề.
 c. Thái độ:
	- Học sinh có thái độ nghiêm túc, hăng hái xây dựng bài học.
2. Preparation:
 a. Teacher: Textbook, tape, cassette, pictures,... 
	 b. Students: Student’s book / Prepare new lesson/Learn old lesson.
 3. Procedures:
	a. Checking the old lesson:(5’) 
- T guides Ss to play a game: Networks 
Most popular sports
in the USA
- T asks Ss to work in groups.
- T calls on Ss from 2 groups to go to the board and write.
- T remarks and states the group which wins the game.
 b. New lesson:

- T introduces the situation of the lesson, then ask Ss to look at the pictures and call the names of the pictures.
- T explains some new words to Ss.
- T guides Ss to play game: What and Where
- T introduces how to change adjectives into adverbs and the use of Adj and Adv:
- T asks Ss to make sentences using adjectives and adverbs.
- T asks Ss to look at the books and listen to the tape.
- T asks Ss to work in pairs reading the text.
- T calls on some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- T asks Ss to complete the passage with the correct adverbs in brackets.
- T asks Ss to exchange the result with the partner 
- T calls on 2=> 3 Ss to give the results in front of the class.
- T corrects and gives the correct answers 
- T asks Ss to write in the notebooks 
- T asks Ss to look at the picture and answer the question: what kind of sports in the picture ?
- T calls on some Ss to answer.
- T asks Ss to read the text and check the answer
- T asks Ss to read the text in silent.
- T calls on some Ss to read the text aloud.
- T corrects the pronunciation.
- T asks Ss to work in pairs to ask and answer the questions.
- T calls on some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- T corrects the mistakes and gives the correct answers.
- T asks Ss to copy down.

Adverbs often go with ordinary verbs

* Write. Change the adjectives in brackets to adverbs.(10’)
* Read. Then answer the questions.(13’)
 What is WFF? WTS?
 Answers:
He takes part in WFF.
His school team won the first prize, they were so happy and wanted to keep this activity.
One activity is a 5 walk to the beach on Sunday morning, and the other is walk- to – school day 
It’s 5 km from school to the beach.
Wednesday is the WTS day.
Members living near school often take part in the WTS day.
- Listen to the teacher.
- Listen and write down.
- Read new words in chorus and individually, then copy down.
- Ss play game: What and Where
- Listen to the teacher carefully.
- Make sentences with the adjectives and adverbs.
- Look at the books and listen to the tape.
- Work in pairs.
- Practice reading in front of the class.
- Complete the passage with the correct adverbs.
- Listen and write down.
- Exchange the result with the partner.
- Give the results in front of the class.
- Write down.

- Ss answer.
- Ss read the text and check the answer
- Ss read the text in silent.
- Ss read the text aloud.

 c. Consolidation: (5’)
- T summarizes knowledges in period: 
- T asks Ss to Repeat the way to change adjective to adverb.
Give some cues and ask Ss to make sentences.
+ Slow / slowly / swimmer 
+ Quick / quickly / runner 
+ Bad / badly / volleyball 
Make example:
+ She’s a slow runner 
She runs slowly.
Have Ss work in pairs.
Call on some pairs to practice in front of the clas .
Correct the mistakes.
 d. Home work: (2’)
T demands sts to: 
 + Learn by heart new words and structures by making sentences with them.
 + Do exercise 3, 4 at page 83 in workbook.
 + Prepare part B1.
