Write – it – up 
Write the things that Hoa often does in the evening ( use the simple present tense)

- T asks students to write the words about life in the city on the board. 
- Ss work in groups to write the words on the board. 
- T declares the winner. 
Pre-listening
- T asks students to look at the pictures and give the activity of each picture. 
- Ss work in pairs to give the activity of each picture and gives the answers.
- T gives feedback 
- T asks students to write the names Hoa, Nga, Nam, Lan, Ba next to the picture. 
- Ss work in pairs to guess the name next to the pictures. 
While – listening 
- T turns on the cassette twice. 
- Ss listen to the text and check their guesses, then give the answers.
