 I- WARM- UP
* Game: Pelmanism
T: prepares 24 cards. 12 cards are written the names of 12 months, the other are written the ordinal number from the 1st to the 12th.
 II- PRE- LISTENING
T:elicits some vocabulary by using translation
T: asks soime guiding questions:
a. Do you remember Hoa?
b. Who is she?
c. Now Hoa is going to Mr. Tan’s class, what will Mr. Tan ask Hoa?
 III- WHILE- LISTENING
T: plays the tape, asks Ss to listen and tick their predictions.
T: asks Ss to give the questions that Mr. Tan uses to ask Hoa.
T: plays the tape again and corrects Ss’ answers.
T: How does Hoa answer Mr Tan’s questions?
T: asks Ss to read the dialogue and answer the questions.
T: gives feedback.
 IV- POST- LISTENING
T :asks Ss to read the dialogue again and complete the form.

- Ss play the game in groups.
1. Vocabulary:
+ date of birth: (= birthday)
+ (to) worry (n): lo lắng
+ nervous (adj): lo lắng, bồn chồn
+ will not = won’t
2. Predict the dialogue:
Ss: listen and answer:
-> Yes.
-> She is a new student in class 7A
-> (Ss’ answer may vary)
3. Check prediction
Ss: listen and tick their right predictions. Then they correct their answers.
Ss: give their answer:
a. What’s your name?
b. What’s your date of birth?
c. What’s your address?
d. What’s your telephone number?
Ss: give Hoa’s answers:
-> Pham Thi Hoa
-> June eighth. I’ll be 14 on my next birthday.

4. Now answer
Ss: answer:
a. Hoa is 13 years old.
b. She’ll be 14 on her next birthday.
c. Her birthday is on June eighth
d. Hoa lives with her uncle and aunt
