What will you prepare for your birthday? Who will you invite? 3.Practice: T ask Ss to look at part b7 to imagine they will be a guest at Lan’s house to have a birthday party. Ss work in group work of 5- 6, discussing what you will bring to Lan’s birthday. Note: Will do in the future simple tense. T ask Ss give their answers. Ss write card themsleves. T ask Ss go to board and write their postcard. T go around the class to help Ss if necessary. T correct their writing ang give marks. SS look at part b9* and listen to the record. T explain “ Leap year: n¨m nhuËn” T play the tape for 2 times. IV. Consolidation: T repeat the form of a birthday invitation card. Structures in the postcard. The simple future tense with “ will” V. I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will able to : Name some of things in the house. How to use the exclaimations. Knowledge: Language: awful, lovely, bright, convenient, refrigerator, sink, tub, washing Machine, dryer, dish washer, electric stove. Structure: What an awful day! What a bright room! What nice colors! Have a seat. I’d love some. Skill: Pronunciation, reading skill and answering question. Attitude: Love their house and can describe the house. II. Preparation: Teaching aid: picture in the book, a picture of house, extra board, tape recorder. Method: pair work, eliciting, questioning, answering. III: Procedure: Warm up: How many rooms are there in your house? What are they? What are thre in each room? Practice: New words: T present new words, Ss look at picture and say the names of things and copy down awful( a) armchair( n) comfortable(a) sink( n) amazing( a) refrigerator(n) shower(n) convenient(a) dryer(n) modern(a) T guide Ss read the new words fluently. Some Ss read new words in front of the class, T correct their pronunciation. T play the tape and ask Ss look at the book and listen to the dialogue. Write a short passage to describle their house( 3 or 5 sentencens). Describe the positions of objects in the living room. 1.Knowledge: - Language: Wet, delicious, expensive, closet Preposition: on, in, under, near, next to, behind, in front of. Structure: What an expensive dress! Where is the coach? It is under the picture. Is there a/an?; Are there any? 2 .Skill: speaking, writing, communicative- approach, describing picture. Attitude: Love their house more. II. Preparation: Teaching aid: picture in book, book. Method: Comunicative - approach, asking and answering. III. Procedure: Bath room Check up: Play Slap board: Bed room Reading room Living room kitchen Warm up:(chatting) Ask Ss some questions : How many rooms are there in your house? Is there a television in your living room? Are there any books in your bag? Ss anwer ,T lead them to the lesson.
