New lesson: METHOD CONTENT *Pre-reading: Stick the pictures on the board and ask students to tell about Lan’s family: Lan’s father, Lan’s mother and her brother. Explain some vocabularies. Lead Ss to read then call some Ss to read aloud. Remind the structures for asking the work and place of work. *While-reading: Have students read the passage. Ask students about each person’s job and place of work, and what he / she does in his / her job. Ask some questions about Lan’s family and let them answer. Have them practice asking and answering in pairs. *Post-reading: Have them copy the passage and write down the answers. Let them learn by heart the passage.
