*Pre-listening:
T: asks Ss to answer the question: “ What do you ussualy do at recess”
Ss: answer.
T: introduces “you will hear the tape about Mai, Kien, Lan and Ba. They are at the recess. Now you listen to the tape and decide which games each student plays by matching the names on the left column with the activities on the right one” (T uses a sub board)
T: asks Ss to guess before listening.
T: calls some Ss to present before the class.
* While- listening:
T: has Ss listen to the tape twice.
Ss:do the exercise by themselves.
T: asks Ss to compare the result with a partner. 
T: has Ss listen once more.
* Post-listening:
T: asks some Ss to match on the sub board.
T: remarks and corrects their answers if any.
T: asks Ss to compare the answers with the first guessions.
T: asks Ss some questions:
 - What do you usually at recess?
 - Are you happy at your recess?
 - Do you play catch at recess?
T: I have to take a survey. Now all of you have to take some survey.
Ss: draw a table ( prepared at home)
Ss: use some questions to take a survey with their friends ( 3 friends)

T: asks Ss to complete the survey and discuss in groups to answer the question “ What is the most popular activity at recess”

Kien - playing blindman’s bluff.
Lan - skipping rope.
Ba - playing marble.
B4. Take a survey
Consolidation:
 T: asks Ss to describe their recess activities.
