1. The aims:- T helps ss revise the present of progressive to talk about recess activities

2. Requests: - By the end of the lesson ss will be able to talk about recess activities using the present progressive and improve listening skill.

3. T's preparation: - Poster with the words about Recess activities, tape, stereo.

1. Presentation: B1 p56
- T uses the pictures in B1 to sets the scene.
- Then asks ss to read the text to complete the list.

2. Practice: Pictures cue drill
- Ss look at the pictures B1 p 56 from a to f asks and aswer.
 Example exchange: 
S1: What is the boy doing?
S2: He's reading.
3. Production: Further Practice:
Write it up:- Ss write the sentences about the pictures.
The boy are talking to each other.
a. Listen and match: B2 p57.
- Ss listen and match the Name of the persons with the activities.
- Mai and Kien are playing catch.
- Kien is playing blindman's bluff.
- Lan is skipping rope.
- Ba is plaing marble.
IV. CONSOLIDATION:
- Ss say again the use and the form of the present progressive.
V. HOMEWORK: 
- Ss learn by heart the use and the form of the present progressive.
- Prepare for the new lesson: Lesson 5: B3 p57 and 58

- Ss work in pair to ask and answer about the pictures in B1.
- Ss write the sentences about hte pictures by using the present progressive.
