1. The aims:
 a. Kiến thức:
	- Học sinh biết cách nói về các hoạt động, công việc học tập và các ngày nghỉ, ngày lễ ở Mỹ và Việt Nam qua việc ôn lại thì hiện tại đơn và so sánh hơn của danh từ. 
 - Vocabulary: hard, quite, vacation
	- structure: The present simple
 b. Kĩ năng:
	- Học sinh luyện kĩ năng nghe và luyện tập đoạn hội thoại, củng cố kĩ năng đọc hiểu qua bài đọc về các ngày nghỉ, lễ ở Việt Nam và Mỹ dưới dạng một bức thư. 
 c. Thái độ:
	- Học sinh có thái độ nghiêm túc, say mê với môn học.
2. Preparation:
 a. Teacher: Book, workbook, plan of action, reference book.
 b. Students: Book, workbook, learn old lesson, prepare new lesson

 Example exchange:
 Our classes always start at a quarter to seven and they finish at eleven o’clockthen in the afternoon and evening. I do my homework, that takes four hours a day.
 Our summer vacation start in June. It last for almost three months.
