New lesson: method content Have students look at the table on the board and explain the task of the exercise and the meaning of new word. Ask them to reread Tim’s letter and the passage about Mr Tuan and fill in the table the information needed in groups of four. Call on some students to fill in the table on the board. Remark and correct the mistakes if necessary. *Pre- listening: Ask Ss to discuss in groups of four about the work of the jobs they know. (working hours, daily duties, amount of vacation) Hang the sub board and introduce “ Now you listen and complete the table with the information about job, hours per week and amount of vacation of four people” Have students look at the table and explain the task and meaning of new word. *While- listening: Let Ss listen to the tape twice and note the answers. Asks Ss to compare the answers with a partner. Have them listen again to check their answers. *Post- listening: Call some Ss to answer aloud and other take notes in the table on the sub board. Remark and correct the mistakes if necessary. Introduce and has Ss listen to the tape first. Asks Ss to listen and repeat. Explain the meaning of some new words. Calls some Ss to read again.
