+ introduce vacations.in American to everybody

+ introduces comparation

- Developing reading , listening skills.

- Sts should take part in vacation

II. PREPARATION

- Teacher : plan , pictures , book , card , stereo

- Student : book , noterbook , pen , ruler , prepare new lesson .

- Techniques : Communicative approach , wok in pair / group

III. PROCEDURES:

1.Greeting and checking attendance

2. The previous lesson:

* Read A 1

* write some words : + to last (v) + almost ( adjunct ) + school year (n )- expl

* answer question

 Part 2 : Read. Then answer the questions. 
 3 : Listen. Write the name of the public holiday in each of these pictures.

- Introduce the situation of the lesson

- Present some new words
- Ss copy down

- Ss repeat ( chorus & individual)
- Ask Ss to write T or F before reading the letter
- Call on some groups to give their predictions
Practice:
- Ask Ss to look at the book and read the letter
- Ask them to check their predictions
- Call on some Ss to give the answers in front of the class
- Correct and give the correct answers
- Call on 2 à 3 students to read the letter aloud
- Have Ss work in pairs to answer the questions
- Pairwork
- Call on some pairs to practice asking and answering in front of the class
- Correct the mistakes and give the correct answers
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures carefully
- Ask Ss to predict the name of each picture
- Play the tape for Ss ( twice)
- Call on some Ss to give their answers in front of the class
- Correct and give the correct answers

1/ Vietnamese students have fewer vacation than American students.
