I . OBJECTIVES
* After this lesson, students will be able to ask for and give directions and describe positios of places with prepositions .
* Practice speaking skill 
* Sts should give die\rections for others if sts can do
II. PREPARATION
- Teacher : plan , pictures , book , card , 
- Student : book , notebook , pen , ruler , prepare new lesson .
- Techniques : Communicative approach , wok in pair / group  
III. PROCEDURES:
1.Greeting and checking attendance 
2. The previous lesson:
* write some words : souvernir shop ( n) , excuse me , 
* Read A2 
* make the dialogue with a partner

Warm-up:
- Have Ss play a game : Networks 
- Call 2 students from 2 groups to go to the board and write down 
- Remark
Presentation:
- Ask Ss to look at the street map carefully 
- Ask them to call the places in the street map 
- Have Ss say about the places’ positions 
- Introduce the question and answer about the places 
Practice:
* Task 1
- Ask Ss to look at 8 places in the box and the street map 
- Have Ss work in pairs asking and answering about these places 
- Pairwork
- Call some pairs to ask and answer in front of the class 
- Correct the mistakes if necessary 
* Task 2
- Ask Ss to look at the street map again 
- Explain the aims of the exercise to Ss : Listen to the directions then find out the places 
- Make model : 
- Play the tape for Ss ( twice or 3 times ) 
- Ask them to exchange the results with their partners 
- Play the tape again for Ss to check the results
 - Correct the mistakes then give the correct answers 
Production:
- Give some places for Ss to practice ( other map )
- Ask Ss to give the directions to these places 
- Call on some Ss to give the directions in front of the class

S2: The shoe store is between the restaurant and the hotel . It’s opposite the supermarket.
