Warm up ( Game relating to regular and irregular verbs ) Class is divided into two group. Each group sends two members to the board and they try to find out as many verbs as good. Time allowed is two minutes T : Asks sts to play game St: Find out as many verbs as good ( watched / used / helped / learned / bought / made / were / looked / cut / missed ) T: Controls the games and check the answers after the games finishes T: Remarks 2. New lesson Pictures : a. a sewing machine b. a photo of Hoa ( book ) ( Uses the pictures to present new words and leads in the lesson ) + Sew ( v ) + Sewing ( n ) + Sewing machine ( n ) T: Introduces picture a What is this? St: She is wearing a skirt T: Is it beautiful? St: Yes, it is T: Hoa is wearing her new skirt. The skirt has white flowers on it. Hoa made this skirt by herself and how she made it. St: It is very beautiful T: Yes, it is very beautiful but when she tried it on, it was too big. It didn’t fit her ( introduces the word “fit” and the structure “ try on st” ) St: Write down b.
