- T introduces the newwords by the help of explanation.
- T reads, Ss listen.
- Ss read again.
- Practise the newwords: Slap the board.
* Prediction:
- Ask Ss to predict the content of the dialogue between Hoa and the doctor, then fill in the blanks.
Act2: While - listening:
* Listening and checking:
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape, then correct their prediction.
- Ss listen to the tape again.
- Ss roleplay to read the dialogue between Hoa and the doctor.
* Fill in the missing information.
- Ss work in close pairs: one is A, the other is B. Ss use the questions to ask their friends and fill in the medical record.
- T checks and corrects.
- Ask Ss to work in pairs: ask and answer, then fill in their medical record.
- Feedback: T checks some pairs by A asks, B answers.
Act3: Post - listening: Survey.
- Ss work in groups: Ask and answer, after that fill in the missing information
- Feedback: T checks some groups.

 T: How old is he ?

* Prediction: T shows the poster about the dialogue between Mr Tan and Lan, some words are missing, asking Ss to guess the content of the dialogue and fill in the blanks.
Act2: Practice: 
* Listening and checking:
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape, then check their prediction. ( Ss listen three times ).
- Ss practise by reading the dilogue again ( in pairs ).
* Answering: Ss read the dialogue again, then answer the questions: ( B1 / P 110 )
- T corrects if they have the mistakes.
* T elicits the target language
- T ask Ss to give example.
* Practice: T gives the cue words, ask Ss to make the question and answer.
