What’s your of birth? What’s your date of birth? 2.Presentation: I. Activity 1: Listen and repeat: New words: - Ordinal number (n): số thứ tự - Birthday (n): ngày sinh nhật - Date (n): ngày (trong tháng) II. Activity 2: Listen and write the date: + The first of July + The nineteenth + The sixth + The fourteenth + The seventeenth + The thirty-first Teacher asks students some questions to introduce the new lesson. Students listen to the tape and repeat the ordinal numbers. Teacher explains some numbers : first, second, third, fifth, ninth, twentieth, . . . Students repeat after the tape. Teacher corrects mispronunciation. Students listen and write the dates. Students write the months in the order from first to twelfth. Teacher corrects the answers. Students copy them into exercise book. IV.Consolidation:5’ Fluently practice and translate into Vietnamese.
